Dr. Anwar joined Shenandoah University School of Business in the spring of 2022. Before joining the school, she spent five years teaching accounting and finance at the collegiate level. Additionally, she brings with her six years of experience in the accounting industry, where she worked as an auditor, corporate accountant, and consultant.
Dr. Anwar earned her Ph.D. in Accounting from Griffith Business School, an AACSB-accredited business school in Australia. Griffith Business School is recognized as one of the top 125 schools in the world for business and economics, according to THE World University Rankings 2023.
In addition, Dr. Anwar actively contributes to the professional community. She serves as an Associate Editor for the International Journal of Business Ecosystem & Strategy and is a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Business & Economics Research.
